How to convert IFC to DXF online

From the BIM model to CAD in two clicks: 3D DXF (3DFACE geometry in real UTM coordinates, importable in AutoCAD or Revit) or 2D plan and elevations. All in the browser, without converters of dubious origin.

  1. Open your IFC at geomaifc.com/app and go to 3D View → Load 3D.
  2. Optional: isolate the elements you care about (Isolate sel. or filters) — the DXF exports what is visible.
  3. Leave Real coords: ON if you want the DXF georeferenced in UTM (recommended for AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit "by shared coordinates").
  4. Press ⬇ DXF and choose: 3D model (3DFACE), Plan, Front elevation or Side elevation.
  5. Open the file in AutoCAD or BricsCAD (ZOOM → Extents takes you to the model) or link it into Revit as a CAD link.

What it contains — and what it doesn't

Pure geometry organised in layers by IFC type (IFCWALL, IFCPIPESEGMENT…), in the universal R12 format. No materials, textures or parameters — exactly what you want in order to redraw, dimension or use as a reference in CAD.

IFC to DXF with real coordinates

Most converters centre the model at the origin and the georeference is lost. Geoma keeps the real UTM: the drainage plan lands exactly on your mapping. If you are not sure what georeference your model carries, check it first — here is how.
